What the crossing really costs

Three ways past the toll station, three prices: cash or card at the booth, an online ticket bought in advance, or the ØresundGO discount contract. All figures per single crossing, including 25 % VAT, billed in Danish kroner.

ØresundGO costs an additional 51 € annual fee (370 DKK). The online ticket carries a 10 % discount if you subscribe to the consortium newsletter. At the toll station cash is accepted only in SEK and DKK — not in euros.

Is ØresundGO worth it?

The contract was called BroPas until 2023. It costs 51 € a year and cuts the car price from 72 € at the booth to 25 €. The second crossing alone — a return trip, in other words — covers the annual fee.

The larger the vehicle, the clearer the effect: a motorhome between six and ten metres pays 50 € instead of 144 €. Up to five vehicles can be linked to the same contract within one calendar year.

Frequent commuters do better with ØresundPENDLER or PENDLER+ than with GO — a separate article on that is in preparation.

Book the ferry and the bridge together

Coming via Puttgarden–Rødby or Rostock–Gedser, you get both from Scandlines in one ticket — the bridge is paid before you reach the station.
