From Europe to Scandinavia
Ferry and bridge in one ticket
Two stretches of water lie between continental Europe and southern Sweden. For the Øresund there is exactly one fixed link — this bridge. For the Fehmarn Belt, the ferry. Scandlines sells both together.

What the combi ticket is
One ticket, two legs: the ferry crossing on Puttgarden–Rødby or Rostock–Gedser and the toll for the Øresund Bridge. You book once, pay once, and the bridge is settled before you reach the toll station at Lernacken.
The price covers the vehicle with up to nine people — not each head. For a family or two couples in one car, that is the decisive difference from the train.
What it costs
| Combination | Ticket type | From (one way) |
|---|---|---|
| Puttgarden–Rødby + Øresund Bridge | Standard | 129 € |
| Puttgarden–Rødby + Øresund Bridge | Flex | 205 € |
| Puttgarden–Rødby + Øresund Bridge | Motorbike | 62.25 € |
| Rostock–Gedser + Øresund Bridge | Standard | 153.50 € |
| Puttgarden–Rødby + Helsingør–Helsingborg ferry | Standard | 125.25 € |
| Puttgarden–Rødby + Helsingør–Helsingborg ferry | Motorbike | 59.25 € |
From-prices for one crossing, valid for up to nine people in a car. Scandlines prices depend on demand — the price for your date may be higher. Checked by us on 14 August 2026 at scandlines.com.
Is it cheaper than buying separately?
Honest answer: not automatically. The Puttgarden–Rødby ferry alone starts at 61.10 €, the online ticket for the bridge costs 64 € — 125.10 € together against 129 € for the combi ticket. On today’s from-prices the combi ticket is not a discount ticket.
What it does save for certain is the surcharge at the toll station: crossing there costs 72 € instead of 64 €, and you queue for it. If you would otherwise arrive without a pre-bought bridge ticket, the combi ticket comes out cheaper.
Because both prices move — the ferry with demand, the bridge with the price list — it pays to compare for your date. That is what the calculator on our toll page is for.
Book the ferry and the bridge in one go. If a booking is made through this link we receive a commission — your price stays the same.
Why this route and not through Jutland
There are two ways from Hamburg to Malmö. Through Jutland you stay on the motorway the whole way but pay the Great Belt toll: 235 DKK for a car at the booth, 205 DKK with a Bizz or plate recognition (price list since 1 January 2026).
On the Vogelfluglinie you cross 20 kilometres of the Fehmarn Belt in 45 minutes, avoid the Great Belt toll entirely and arrive noticeably earlier. Either way, the same bridge waits at the end — it is the only fixed link between Zealand and Sweden.
Anyone travelling beyond Malmö feels the difference twice over: from the toll station it is another two and a half hours to Gothenburg, and a good six to Stockholm.

Who benefits most
Families and groups: one price for up to nine people. With four of you, the car beats the train clearly as soon as luggage, bikes or camping gear come along.
Anyone travelling loosely: the standard ticket is valid for any departure the same day that still has space — you do not have to commit to a time.
Anyone who wants to avoid the toll station: the bridge is settled in the ticket. No queue, no booth price, no currency question at the till.
Common questions about the combi ticket
Does the combi ticket cover the return trip too?
The from-prices apply per single crossing. For a return journey you book two legs — or price the return separately if you want to come back via Helsingør–Helsingborg.
What is the difference between Standard and Flex?
Standard is valid for the booked departure and any other with free space the same day; rebooking costs a fee. Flex is dearer and freely rebookable.
Do I get the bridge online price with the combi ticket?
The bridge toll is included in the combined price; you pay nothing more at the station. Arithmetically the bridge share sits at roughly the level of the online ticket.
Is the combi ticket worth it with ØresundGO?
No. With the ØresundGO discount contract the bridge costs you only 25 €, so booking the ferry on its own is the better move.
Does the combi ticket apply to motorhomes?
The from-prices quoted are for cars with up to nine people. Motorhomes and rigs have their own tariffs — check with Scandlines using your actual dimensions.
